as far as piercings go, I just have my navel done. some people find it odd that I've never had my ears pierced, yet went and got a hole poked through my belly button, but I've just never gotten around to having my ears done. first it was because I hadn't gotten over my fear of needles. then, it was because I was in tae kwon do, and the only jewelry that was allowed while sparring was a wedding ring, and I wasn't going to stop classes for six weeks while it all healed.
after I quit that I got my navel done, and was happy with just that..and when I started thinking of having my ears pierced, I was with someone who despised any and all piercings (and tattoos) and bitched me out when I mentioned I might get my ears pierced. for the sake of peace, I refrained from doing it anyways.

I dumped him eventually, and I'm with someone now who likes my piercing and wouldn't mind me getting more, I'm not in TKD anymore, I've since gotten over most of my fear of needles, and..well..once more, I just haven't gotten around to having it done. heh.

I'll also be getting another tattoo at some point, though I've not yet decided what I want. I thought about getting more words in sanskrit, like my first one is, but I'm thinking this time I'll go with a design.
